Thiago Maia

Born in Rio de Janeiro on March 23, 1985, Thiago Maia is the only musician in a large family and has worked in various areas, but for the last 10 years he has lived only as a music professional, playing at the best bars and nightclubs in the city. Singer, guitarist and composer, Thiago created his first song at the age of 14, and after performing in many musical groups, formed his current band in 2013, Jerry Matarazzo, along with bassist Anderson Mendonça, drummer Gonçalo Jorge and guitarist Paulinho Filho. The band’s music style, whose self-titled CD was produced by Marcelo Sussekind, is mainly radio pop-rock with reggae, soul and samba influences.
