Vitale represents Countdown, a subsidiary of BMG: more than one hundred thousand covers, specifically developed for use in audiovisual productions. They are re-recordings of a high technical-artistic level, produced in the same style of the original master, both in the musical aspect (arrangement and rhythm) and the in vocal performance.

All musical genres can be found: from pop classics to bossa nova, from recordings of classical music to international hits, constantly updated. In order to facilitate the search for the most suitable music, the catalogue is organized by title, artist, musical genre and copyright data.

Countdown’s masters feature works by all publishers, not just those of Vitale and its sub-published catalogues. This means that the customer, after selecting a work from any publisher, may choose to use a cover, instead of relying on the original master or re-recording it independently, which are generally more expensive and time-consuming options. Audios of covers are available for customer evaluation.

Licensing is very fast as the covers are already pre-cleared for use in audiovisuals.It is important to emphasize that permission from the publisher that controls the work recorded in the cover will always be necessary, that is, the license of the master owner does not exempt the authorization of the publisher. Vitale can assist the client in this process and intermediate the obtaining of this type of licensing.
